THE ART OF PLAYING YOUR PART
How to play Acolyte
A successful recruitment makes you Cult and removes your former class powers. You gain one Listen and may later inherit the faction attack.
Read your new objective and current abilities immediately. Rebuild your plan around the Cult’s surviving members.
FROM THE LIVE GAME RULES
Your abilities
This class enters play through conversion. It is not assigned as a starting role.
NIGHT ABILITY
Listen
Learn one non-Ruler’s role category.
NIGHT ABILITY
Attack
Make one basic attack; protection and detention can stop it.
Condition: Available only while you hold the Cult’s single attack. Succession is Assassin, then Mastermind, then the lowest-seat living Acolyte.
Charge counts and ability text come from the game itself. “No charge limit” does not remove timing, targeting, or other restrictions.
YOUR CLASS ACHIEVEMENT
A name to earn.
Acolyte
An Oath Kept
Title: The Initiated
Win 5 completed matches after being recruited and finishing as Acolyte.
No passive bonus. Your title changes no match powers.
A LITTLE WISDOM GOES A LONG WAY
At the table
- 01
Listen reveals a non-Ruler’s role category once.
- 02
Succession passes from Assassin to Mastermind, then to the lowest-seat living Acolyte.
- 03
When you inherit the attack, it replaces your other choice for that night.
Mind the trap.
- Acolyte is never a starting multiplayer class; its practice lesson simulates an earlier conversion.
- Your old powers are gone.
- Earlier evidence of your Innocent allegiance can become outdated after recruitment.
