Claimant
While alive, get your assigned target executed. A different death activates survival instead.
YOUR WIN CONDITION
While alive, get your assigned target executed.
THE ART OF PLAYING YOUR PART
How to play Claimant
Get your assigned target executed while you are alive. The contract win then stays secured. If the target dies another way and you survive that death batch, your objective becomes survival.
Check your assigned target, then gather a case the court may accept without losing sight of your own survival.
FROM THE LIVE GAME RULES
Your abilities
Your influence is your instrument.
This class has no active class abilities. Work through conversation, nominations, and votes to pursue your objective.
Charge counts and ability text come from the game itself. “No charge limit” does not remove timing, targeting, or other restrictions.
YOUR CLASS ACHIEVEMENT
A name to earn.
Claimant
The Contract Fulfilled
Title: The Rightful
Win 5 completed matches as Claimant with your execution contract fulfilled. Survival fallback does not count.
No passive bonus. Your title changes no match powers.
A LITTLE WISDOM GOES A LONG WAY
At the table
- 01
A successful contract does not immediately end the match.
- 02
Once the contract is secured, later death does not remove that personal win.
- 03
If a non-execution death activates your fallback, protect your own survival until the actual ending.
- 04
In Shade Court the contract follows your assigned player, not whoever later occupies their seat. Possession eliminates that player without an execution, so it can activate the survival fallback.
Mind the trap.
- An execution after your own death does not secure the contract.
- Killing the target at night is not the contract objective.
- Claimant appears only in sixteen-seat courts.
