THREE ALLEGIANCES. NO GUARANTEES.
The Neutrals
Your own terms for an ending.
YOUR PLACE AT COURT
Follow your own ambition.
Neutrals do not share one victory condition. Read your class’s private objective: survival, a client, a contract, predictions, execution or independent killing each demand a different plan.
THE FIELD NOTES
- 01
Wayfarer and Advocate must survive the actual ending; an Advocate also needs the client alive.
- 02
Claimant and Bookmaker can secure personal wins before the match ends.
- 03
The Martyr’s execution ends the match immediately.
- 04
Ashkeeper, Usurper and Shade are hostile killers available only in their separate sixteen-seat variants.
- 05
Several qualified players can share an ending, including qualifying Neutrals when the primary factions draw.
THE FACES OF THIS FACTION
8 ways to play your part.
Survival
Wayfarer
Be alive when the match ends. A barricade can stop night attacks, not execution.
Execution objective
Martyr
Get executed by the court to end the match immediately. Both primary factions lose.
Contract objective
Claimant
While alive, get your assigned target executed. A different death activates survival instead.
Independent killing · advanced
Ashkeeper
Survive until all Innocents die. Cult survivors may share your win.
Independent killing · advanced
Usurper
Survive until every Innocent and Cult is dead. Other Neutrals need not die.
Client survival
Advocate
You and your fixed client must both survive until the actual ending.
Possession · advanced
Shade
Survive until every Innocent and Cult is dead. From Night 2, possess an unprotected non-Ruler and leave a forged husk, or wither a player with one basic attack.
Prediction
Bookmaker
Correctly predict a night death on two different nights, surviving each scoring batch.
