Archivist
Audit a publicly dead player’s last locked action category.
YOUR WIN CONDITION
Eliminate every Cult member and hostile Neutral while an Innocent survives. Executing the Martyr makes your faction lose.
THE ART OF PLAYING YOUR PART
How to play Archivist
Audit a publicly revealed corpse to learn the category of its last locked night action. In Shade Court, auditing an abandoned Shade husk instead exposes its forged corpse record: the true class is Shade and faction is Neutral, without revealing the next host.
Wait for a body to become public. Choose an audit that can test an important account of the previous night.

A LITTLE WISDOM GOES A LONG WAY
At the table
- 01
Attack, conversion, control, protection, investigation, stationary and none are action categories.
- 02
A blocked commitment remains part of the record.
- 03
Each corpse can be audited only once, so preserve the report in your notes.
Mind the trap.
- An audit does not identify a target or prove that the action succeeded.
- Audit is stationary and does not create a visit to a living room.
- A Shade-husk audit reveals the corpse’s true identity, not where the Shade went. Your report is private until you choose to share it.
